First, regarding socialism. I took an in depth course on US Constitution in '80. The instructor made a simple distinction, namely that a socialist is a communist wearing a necktie; whereas, a communist is a socialist carrying a gun. The aim of each is the same, to exploit for the purpose of transferring wealth to the ruling party by convincing the workers to overthrow property owners. It is simply a cruel deceptive ruse. In today's vernacular, the worker has been bamboozled into enriching the rulers. The worker's status remains the same for all practical purposes. The ruse is exposed as the money taken from producers of wealth dries up.
Years ago I also learned from my father - whenever you hear anyone say they will fix things with their brains and your money, look out!
The Capitalist says the true source of wealth is capital, the communist retorts that it is labor, the wise man refutes both and says the true source of wealth is creativity, an innate gift which through freedom with incentive exercises creative thought and action, which elevates the status of a great number of people.
